Jackie is looking a little brighter then she is... Jackie is very prim looking, it was a bad day for photo taking...Jackie is a very grand size of 40 inches from her toes to the top of her hat... Jackie and her had have been made from muslin that has been aged, painted, and sanded.. Jackie's face was hand drawn on with artist pencils, then sealed.... Jackie's dress and pants have been made from a homespun check fabric... Jackie's bodice has been made from a heavy cream material... Old Thyme Noise Makers
"Just in time for All Hallow's Eve"
These little guys were so much fun to make!
Thank you to a very dear friend Tonya of Back Porch Pickins for another wonderful creation…
These guys are called ~Olde Thyme Noise Makers~.
They really aren't the "real' noise makers, but with the rusty bells....they do make noise....They are about 17 inches tall...They have little round heads with cone hats stitched in place, accented with the vintage style garland and more rusty bells and pins...Their eyes are painted and then buttons stitched over the top for detail...
Their nose is made from a piece of felt that has been primitively stitched in place....The mouths have been painted and stitched with floss....
I gathered nylon tulle around the neck for some more added charm and finished it off with rusty bells.
