Warm Wynter Blessings Snowman Door Doll
"Snowfolk has been made from osnaburg fabric that I have painted, sanded and stained...…Snowfolk Snowman's bottom has been rag stuffed for that extra weigh he needs to hold your door open.. Snowfolk’s head has many wonderful eye catching features…. His eyes have been painted on with a nice rich blue….I have hand stitched his eyelids on to give him a very realist face… 4 lumps of coal have been painted on for his mouth and a nice prim carrot nose has been stitched in place… shading has been added around the all the facial features for a more aged look ... Snowfolks head has been topped with a nice black top hat that has been through all the prim processes… His hat has been stitched in place… I have dressed his hat up with some spruce and berries... these have been stitched in place and also have a small touch of glue for reinforcement… Snowfolk’s out fit has been made from a blue homespun star fabric… His stars, strips and mittens have been made from wool felt that has been stitched in place… and a nice red and white check homespun fabric has been placed around his neck and adorned with a large rusty well and warm winter blessings tag… Snowfolk’s Cardinal friend has been made from muslin that I have painted a nice rich red and also painted on his mask… I have added a small rusty bell for his eye…I have attached his wings with rusty safety pins… The Cardinal has been attached to a thick stick … I have placed a small dab of glue to the inside of the Cardinal and then took tiny stitches around the base for more security… I wrapped the base of the cardinal with some grungy cheesecloth … added a rusty bell… This Snowfolk was created from a wonderful pattern from Tonya of Back Porch Pickins… Warm Wynter Blessings is 125.00
